Processing of Personal Data on the Sofeei Website and in Online Surveys

iAGE Kft. (hereinafter: the “Data Controller”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of visitors to the sofeei.com website, persons who contact us, and participants in our surveys. This Privacy Notice explains what personal data we process, for what purposes, on which legal basis, for how long, and what rights data subjects have.

1. Details of the Data Controller

iAGE Kft. is the data controller for processing activities related to the Sofeei service and website.

2. What Data Do We Process?

2.1. Online Surveys and Questionnaires

When you complete surveys available on the Sofeei website, we may process the following data:

• your responses to the questionnaire;
• your name, if you provide it;
• your company name, if you provide it;
• your email address, if you provide it;
• the date and time of submission;
• the fact and date of your consent;
• technical and security data, such as IP address and browser- or device-related log data, where necessary for the operation and security of the website or form provider.

Surveys may cover professional topics, including software development, AI coding, and experiences with technology use. Please do not submit passwords, access credentials, source code, trade secrets, customer data, or other confidential information through a survey.

2.2. Contact and Other Web Forms

When you submit a contact, demo request, or other web form, we may process:

• your name;
• your company name;
• your job title or role;
• your email address;
• any other information you provide in your message.

2.3. Data Related to Newsletters, Research Results and Future Surveys

Where you provide your explicit consent, we retain your name, company name, and email address in order to:

• send you aggregated survey results;
• inform you about future relevant Sofeei surveys;
• occasionally send you information about Sofeei’s business or professional content and services.

Consent to receive such communications is voluntary and is not a condition of completing a survey or contacting us.

We retain and use contact details for marketing or informational communications only where you have provided clear consent.

Consent is:

• voluntary;
• provided through a checkbox that is not pre-ticked;
• not a condition of completing a survey;
• withdrawable at any time, without giving a reason.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

You may withdraw your consent:

• by clicking the unsubscribe link included in an email;
• by emailing us at peter.c@iageco.com;
• by sending a written request to the Data Controller’s registered office.

After you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, we will no longer send you marketing or informational emails. We will begin processing your request without undue delay and respond to your data protection request no later than one month after receiving it.

5. Data Retention Periods

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary.

After the applicable retention period expires, we delete the data or irreversibly anonymise it.

6. Who May Access the Data?

Personal data may be accessed by those employees of iAGE Kft. who need it to perform their duties.

We may also use data processors for purposes including:

• website hosting and infrastructure;
• form or survey services;
• email delivery services;
• customer relationship management systems;
• IT operations, security, and technical support;
• statistical or web analytics services, where appropriate consent has been obtained or another legal basis applies.

Data processors may process personal data only on iAGE Kft.’s instructions, to the extent necessary for the purpose of processing, and are subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-security obligations.

We do not sell personal data.

7. Transfers of Data to Third Countries

Some of our IT or communications service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area.

Where personal data is transferred to a third country, iAGE Kft. applies appropriate safeguards, such as:

• an adequacy decision issued by the European Commission;
• Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission;
• another transfer mechanism permitted under the GDPR.

iAGE Kft. applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, loss, destruction, or unauthorised disclosure.

Such measures may include:

• restricting access permissions;
• password-protected systems;
• encrypted data transmission using HTTPS;
• regular security updates;
• backups;
• logging and incident-response processes.

The complete security of data transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, please do not submit confidential business information, passwords, access keys, or source code through our surveys or web forms.

9. Rights of Data Subjects

You have the right to:

2. Request rectification if your data is inaccurate or incomplete;
3. Request erasure in the cases specified by the GDPR;
4. Request restriction of processing in the cases specified by the GDPR;
5. Object to processing based on legitimate interests;
6. Withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
7. Exercise your right to data portability, where the conditions for doing so are met;
8. Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

You may submit your request by email to peter.c@iageco.com or by post to the registered office of iAGE Kft. We will respond without undue delay and no later than one month after receiving your request. Where necessary, we may request information needed to verify your identity.

If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes applicable law, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information:
